Feminism in India

This resource highlights the importance of Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) education for individuals with deafblindness and the need to equip educators with the necessary knowledge and skills. Due to cultural taboos and limited accessible teaching methods, individuals with deafblindness often lack essential SRH information, making them more vulnerable to misinformation and abuse.

Through workshops and training, this resource addresses key topics such as safe and unsafe touch, puberty, consent, and privacy. It also presents real-life challenges faced by educators and practical solutions for integrating SRH education into Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). By empowering educators, the resource aims to foster a rights-based approach, ensuring that individuals with deafblindness can navigate their sexual health with dignity and awareness.

Feminism in India is a digital intersectional feminist media organisation. They  published the article written by Sense International India
